Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake add a second Fenway show

As expected, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake have added a second show at Fenway. The dynamic duo, whose “Legends of the Summer” tour was already booked at the ballpark Aug. 10, will play Aug. 11 as well. Tickets for the just-announced second show go on sale March 8 at LiveNation.com. The Jay-Z/JT tour kicks off July 17 in Toronto and includes dates at Yankee Stadium, the Rose Bowl, and San Francisco’s Candlestick Park.

Dave Grohl's Sound City Players, some dude named Justin Timberlake added to SXSW lineup

Confirming rumors that have been floating around for months, both Dave Grohl’s Sound City Players andJustin Timberlake have been added to this year’s SXSW lineup. Grohl’s Players—including Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, Rick Springfield, Corey Taylor, Alain Johannes, Rage Against The Machine’s Brad Wilk, and Fear’s Lee Ving—will play Stubb’s Wednesday, March 14.


Timberlake’s appearance is still a little more shrouded in secrecy. According to Austin’s KVUE, the singer is booked to play a private party sometime during the event, though Austin police have also heard rumblings about yet another surprise performance—one for which they're preparing "extra security," which doesn't at all suggest it could turn into a massive riot.
Other performers also just added to the fest include Iggy And The Stooges, Kendrick Lamar, Iron & Wine, Devendra Banhart, Tenacious D, Ghostface Killah, Pusha T, Big K.R.I.T., Youth Lagoon, Mikal Cronin, Reggie Watts, A Place To Bury Strangers, and more.
The music portion of the festival kicks off Tuesday, March 12 in Austin, Texas.



Justin Timberlake expected at SXSW

When it comes to the South By Southwest Festival, anything is possible – and that includes visits from big celebrities, as well as surprise performances.
Austin police said Monday that they are preparing to add extra security for popular celebrities who will be in town for the festival.
APD confirmed to KVUE that Justin Timberlake will be in Austin and will throw a private party during SXSW. Police also say they have heard a rumor that Timberlake will give a surprise performance, yet there is no word on when or where.
Police say they are working on plans to organize staff and have extra officers in place in case there are any surprises.
The SXSW Festival will be held March 8-17.
